Loos R Us are shortlisted for 'Event Company of the Year' and 'New Starter of the Year' at the Event Hire Association Awards

We are extremely proud to announce we have not only been shortlisted for one award, but two! Loos R Us have been nominated for 'Event Company of the Year' and Amy Gilbert for 'New Starter of the Year'. This is great news for us going into 2014, we are planning a bigger and better year ahead, providing unbeatable customer service and unique portable toilets at your events this summer.

The events team are thrilled with the shortlist nomination, their hard work and determination to provide the best possible products and service has paid off. Lyn and Paul, go over and above their customers expectations to provide a worry free event for the organisers. 'Let us do the worrying and you do the eventing' is their motto.

Amy has said 'I am shocked and honored to be shortlisted for this award, I have just worked my hardest and hoped by ideas and productivity has helped improve the business and the service we offer to our customers'. Amy started at Loos R Us and Site Equip in early 2013, working here previously during summer holidays and part-time. She now currently oversees all aspects of the office, including sales, marketing and HR departments, whilst studying for her HR Management Certificate from CIPD. 'I look forward to being apart of the team to grow Site Equip and Loos R Us' future, facing and combating the challenges that come with the portable toilet industry!'

The award ceremony will take place on 12th April 2014 at the Savoy Hotel in London, keep your fingers crossed for us!

Building, Building, and More Building at Lasham

We may have only been at our yard in Lasham for 2 years in May, but we have definitely made an impact! Not only have we concreted the entire two and half acres of land we own, but have built purpose made offices and a workshop. We are currently continuing the trend by knocking down the old warehouse next to our new offices, incorporating a bigger warehouse to build and maintain our current units.

This development comes at a time when we are planning to build upon the 25 years of excellent service to the events and construction industry providing worry free welfare facilities.

Emergency Units Deployed During Storms

Loos R Us have been working alongside local councils, emergency response units, the MOD and the environment agency to provide residence and troops with welfare facilities throughout the tragic storms. We have been able to supply the community with portable chemical toilets, showers and somewhere to take refuge in, a welfare unit which comprise a kitchen, seating area, toilet, and generator and drying room. Our quick emergency response has enabled the facilities to be provided when they are most needed, including at weekend and evenings. Site Equip think it’s fantastic how the local community have come together to help each other throughout this difficult time, something which we have enjoyed being a part of.
